Benefits of Being an Agency Member of IIATC:

• Meetings: Membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at Rolling Hills Country Club in Arlington. We have a short business meeting, luncheon and a guest speaker. This is an excellent opportunity for our members to meet in an informal atmosphere to discuss business with other agents and company people.
  
  
• Education: IIATC holds educational seminars during the year which are open to all IIATC members and their employees. The topics pertain to items of current interest in the industry and are approved for continuing education credit.
  
  
• Big “I” Day: Our annual golf tournament is held in May. This is a great day of fun, prizes, food and drinks.
  
  
• Newsletter: The IIATC newsletter is published monthly and is designed to keep our members informed of the latest industry happenings on both the state and local level.
  
  
• Employment Agency: We have a licensed employment agency which is available to all agents. The fee is $500 for association members and $1000 for non-members. We keep a list of applicants who are looking for insurance jobs in Tarrant County.
  
  
• Membership Directory: This book is published annually and has the names, addresses, phone & fax numbers of all the agency and company members. The directory is available to IIATC members only. It also contains advertisements by the associate members.
  
  
• Young Agents Council: A newly formed group of insurance career persons who are forty years of age and younger, both agency and company representatives, who meet for educational events, socials, and help with community projects.
  
  
• Tradefest: A one day tradeshow held in February. Our associate members set up booths and the agents visit with them about their products, services, etc. A buffet lunch is served during the show hours. Lost of door prizes are awarded.
